Did you use your charge card abroad? Read on.

The US District Court in Philadelphia wants to talk to you. Visa, Mastercard and Diners Club have agreed to settle a class action suit that charges that they “.. conspired to set and conceal fees, typically of 1-3%, on foreign transactions, and that Visa and Master Card inflated their base exchange rates before applying those fees.”

There are three ways to collect, depending on how much charging you did in foreign currencies. The simplest form requires only name, address, date and signature and will net you $25.

If you think you might be eligible and you did NOT get a form in the mail (as I did today) just call 1-800-945-9890 or go to www.ccfsettlement.com.
